Kerstin Wolf is currently a literary agent at D4EO Literary Agency. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Illinois: Urbana-Champaign with a double major in English and Spanish in 2017. She began her publishing career at Leslie H. Stobbe Literary and then continued to intern at Human Kinetics, Creative Media Agency, Holloway Literary, Entangled Publishing, and The Booker Albert Literary Agency. After a few months as an assistant at The Booker Albert Literary Agency, she moved into an agent in training role before moving to D4EO.

Some of Kerstin’s favorite books include Aru Shah and the End of Time by Roshani Chokshi, The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima, Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi, Nimona by Noelle Stevenson, Sanity & Tallulah by Molly Brooks, Eragon by Christopher Paolini, The Hating Game by Sally Thorne, Cinder by Marissa Meyer, and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This list could continue on for quite some time, but it would probably be best to stop here.

The books that perhaps had the most effect on Kerstin while growing up were The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, the Young Wizards series by Diane Duane, the Pit Dragon Chronicles by Jane Yolen, The 39 Clues by various authors, Swordbird by Nancy Yi Fan, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and the Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima.

When not reading, editing, or doing anything related to publishing (which is really what she spends vast majority of her time doing), Kerstin enjoys practicing martial arts. She has the most experience in judo, boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai. She also likes learning new languages. She has studied Spanish for nine years now and also has some experience in Arabic, German, American Sign Language, Basque, Japanese, and Old English. If given the opportunity to travel the world, Kerstin would take it in a heartbeat. So far, she has lived for a short period of time in Madrid and Granada, Spain. She has also done extensive traveling in the United States, Spain, and Denmark and has visited Morocco, Canada, and Mexico. One of her favorite things about traveling is trying all of the delicious food. If asked, she will tell you that she will never again have such delicious smoked salmon as she did one time in a small town in Denmark. She may also mention that she could go the rest of her life only eating smørrebrød, salmorejo, morcilla, cochinillo, and baklava and be perfectly happy.

Kerstin’s pronouns are she/her/hers.
